A heart attack can happen anywhere: at home, during an activity or at work. Would you know what to do?

A simple, brief, high-quality hands-on training session will help you increase the chances of survival of an unconscious person who has stopped breathing.

This training is given by Daniel Pagé, who has been a Quebec Heart and Stroke Foundation certified teacher of CPR for over 14 years.

Daniel comes on location with his equipment.

Here is the content of the various cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) courses open to the general public :

    Heart Saver :
 
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
    • adult/child (1 instructor)

  • Relief of choking
    • adult/child (1 instructor)

  • Use of the bag mask

  • Introduction to cardiac defibrillation

  • Optional: CPR and relief of choking techniques for babies (add 1 hour of training)

Duration:4 to 5 hours depending on the number of participants

 

   Immediate care (using a defibrillator) :
 
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
    • adult/child/baby (1 instructor)

  • Relief of choking
    • adult/child/baby (1 instructor)

  • Use of the bag mask

  • Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

Duration: 5 to 6 hours depending on the number of participants

Other details :

  • A group can include a maximum of 12 participants

  • Each candidate receives a training manual with CD and a certification card from the Quebec Heart and Stroke Foundation.

  • This training complies with the new resuscitation standards set by The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
